National Motorcoach has been SIGNIFICANT sponsor of the Alberta International Band Festivals since 1990 - that 32 years folks! We are grateful for their generous support over the past few year. They are able to provide transportation for a number of bands each day during the festival at a preferred rate.

As our main bussing sponsor, National Motorcoach has generously reduced their Band Festival transfer rates to help makes things easier for our participating bands.

Scoring & Evaluation

AS OF 2024, ALL ADJUDICATIONS ARE ONLINE.

AIBF Calgary uses a program called Competition Suite that allows for everything to be online - your marks, recordings with audio comments, and your archival recording. The audio files are accessible after your performance, but the actual marks/evaluation will be accessible later during the same day.

All adjudicators are giving actual mark (based on the AIBF Concert Band Rubric - click HERE or the AIBF Jazz Band Rubric - click HERE) along with audio comments. You are also provided with an archival recording of your performance.

TO ACCESS YOUR ADJUDICATION:

Everyone was sent a email from Competition Suite to the email address you used to register your band over the past two weeks that will allow you to finish setting up your account. (It may be sitting in your Junkmail Folder).

When you open up the email, there is a an opportunity for you to create your own security password.

Once complete, you should be able to see your overall score, You can click for more details and see the breakdown from each adjudicator.

You can also click on Commentary to hear any of the three recordings.

If you cannot find that email, you can go to CompetitionSuite.com to set up your account.

  • Click the "Sign Up (It's Free) in the center of the page.
  • Enter the email that you used to register for AIBF. (It is critical that you use the same email that you used to register so it can find you in the system.)
  • Once your account is set-up, you will have access to your adjudication. (It may require account verification from our end. If that is the case, please give it an hour or two and then check back.)
