30 Minute performance time and 30 associated clinic session (maximum time including transition from performance to clinic of 60 minutes).

Grade 6 (Professional)

• Description: The most challenging level, often played by professional or top-level college ensembles. It requires the highest level of technical ability, musicianship, and ensemble coordination. Music at this level is complex in all aspects, from rhythm to harmony to form.
• Typical Characteristics: Extreme technical demands, frequent tempo and meter changes, complex harmonies, and advanced use of orchestration and color.
